Reports are that over in Romania, Andrew Tate was arrested. Emory Andrew Tate III, also known as Andrew Tate, 36, is a former professional kickboxer, MMA fighter and controversial social media star. He was arrested on December 29th, 2022 alongside his brother Tristan Tate in connection with human trafficking, forming an organized crime group and rape.
The Tate brothers have been under investigation since April and according to Reuters news agency, “appear to have created an organized crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialized websites for a cost”.
The Daily Mail reports that the brothers had allegedly detained two women — one with American citizenship and one Romanian — inside their villa against their will in April, where they were subjected to “physical violence and mental coercion’ and were “sexually exploited by group members by forcing them to perform pornographic demonstrations for the purpose of producing and disseminating through social media platforms,” They also reported that the alleged criminal group ‘sexually exploited at least six women’.
Authorities closed in on Tate via the use of social media. This they did by looking at the video he posted to Twitter in response to Greta Thunberg. It all started with Andrew Tate bragging away about his 33 supercars and asking 19-year-old Thunberg to comment on the carbon emissions of each of them. He wrote, “Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions.” To which, Greta replied, “Yes, please do enlighten me. Email me at smalldickenergy@getalife.com.” Due to his need to respond, the winning chit to his arrest was pinning his location which was made easy via a Jerry’s Pizza box that was on the table and also happened to be native to Romania.
